Marvel Super HeroesSTORY / GAMEPLAY
In Marvel Super Heroes, the main antagonist is Thanos who plots to use the Infinity Gems and take over the Universe. So the battles begin and the super heroes get busy. There are ten playable characters and all of their moves can be performed much like the Street Fighter II game. The available characters are: The Incredible Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Magneto, Juggernaut, Iron Man, Psylocke, Shuma-Gorath, Blackheart and Captain America. The game has little new to offer in the genre as it's recycled from several earlier games like the Street Fighter Series and the like. So in terms of originality there is very little to explore or master.
Marvel Super Heroes is notable for being the only game released outside Japan and supports the Extended RAM Cartridge. This helped loading times and brought back much of the animation and detail found on the arcade original. Although the game isn't a perfect port but, compared to the PlayStation version, it's flawless and more impressive in graphics, almost identical to the arcade.
The gameplay is quite smooth and, due to the fact that the Saturn controllers are greatly designed for fighting games, the game plays great. Much like most of the games in the genre, there are loads of combo-powered attacks to discover, master and then use against your opponents.

GRAPHICS / SOUND
As already mentioned, the Saturn port offers some highly detailed backdrops and characters with a flawless animation, taken directly from the arcade original version, maintaining the overall quality.
The game's sound is also great, with CD-quality music along with several sampled sound effects during fighting.
